3rd Day of CNY

Outside meOw's windows, the sun was shining brightly on meOw, trying to rouse this sleepy-head meOw. But still in vain. meOw continued slumbering in dream land, didn't move an inch. Suddenly, meOw opened meOw's sleepy eyes. Hands searching for meOw's hand phone. Ah, found it. Flip it opened. Oh meOw, it's already 11.35am. meOw is so so so late. meOw supposed to be at Kian Chun's house at 11am. Jump out of the bed. Get ready. Rush there. Luckily everybody is still there. They havn't change location yet. Lucky.

Wah. So long didn't meet those secondary friends. Miss them. Mei Foong still have the great body figure and also the thick hair, which meOw envies very very much. meOw always wanted thick, smooth, black-ish, long hair. meOw hope. Haih. Pei Hua still as cute as last time, darker but a total different hair style, still short but this time is curly. meOw quite shock lor. Beng Hui still the same except no more perming and golden hair. Choon Hong is much more bigger than the last time meOw saw him. Wah, meOw's younger brother, meOw think that you should keep fit a tiny little bit lar, don't go any bigger liao lar. Jiun Siang cut his hair shorter, nothing much changes. Wee Meng, Kian Chun and Sam still their old selves. meOw really long time didn't see you guys liao. Chinese New Year do serves a purpose here.

As usual, gambling is the main activity during house visits. It's an activity they never skipped. The most incredible thing is they will stop, move on to another friend's house and start gambling again. It's practically pause the gambling, change venue then replay the game. meOw usually get bored in this situation. Like sitting there to breed fungus. Hahaha. Finally, this come to an end when someone (meOw forgotten is who) suggested to go for a movie or karaoke. Yeah, at last meOw get to run away from all those fungus. Five of us happily went to JJ's cinema. But Splaaaaaaash cold water was run down from head to toe. We forgotten something important. It's Chinese New Year lar, my dear. The queue is so so so so so long. And the time slot we wanted was not available anymore, much to our dismay. So movie was slashed out.

Next stop ---> Karaoke. After the cinema incident, now we are more prepared for bad news. Just trying our luck whether we can get a room. Arrived there, just as expected, there's four people ahead of us in the waiting list. In other words, another few hours to wait. Arrrgggggggggggghhh

P/s The moral of the story is plan ahead and do all the necessary bookings. Do not wait until the very last minute. It's bad.

So no movie no karaoke. Back to square one. Continue visiting to pass time. Sound pathetic?? Not that bad lar. At least no gambling involved. Just plain chatting. But meOw like it this way more. Tick tock Tick tock. Time flies. It's already 8pm. Time to go to Choon Hong's open house already. Let's go.

Wait wait wait. Hold your horses. Have to get a cake first. But not for Choon Hong lar. For mEow.

Hmmmmmm. Standing in front a whole variety of cheese cake. But which one to get for mEow. Think think think. Ok lar, why not take 12 slices of different flavour cheese cake combined as one?
First, mEow can choose which one she wants. Second, meOw think rarely people will do this, so it could be something special for her to remember.

You might think it would cost a fortune to do this. But you are so wrong. It's almost the same price as buying the whole cake. Don't believe this? Let meOw do the calculation for you.

You see. It's only RM 1 difference. So, now, which one do you think is more worth it? You be the judge yourselves.

Isn't it nice and tempting?? However, the cake must be left aside first as the clock had not struck midnight yet. Let's continue our journey to Choon Hong's house. Got a tarot reading from Choon Hong. Quite true yet not that true also. meOw ownself also not sure. Hahahahahahaha.

Soon midnight arrived effortlessly. As we called mEow since 11pm, even the house phone nobody picked up. meOw decided to go straight to mEow's house to see. Eh, there's lights and fan on, should have people in the house. So we shouted for mEow. At first no response. Then mEow's dad opened the door. Ahhhh mEow slept already. We begged to leave a piece for mEow's breakfast. When we are still deciding which slice to choose, mEow came down, looking surprised. Yeah, mission achieved. Thanks to mEow's dad who went up to wake her. mEow, don't be angry with your dad lor. He's just doing us a favour. And sorry for bouncing on you until you fell. Sorry sorry. Your back sure ache de lar. Sorry sorry.

Not only mEow had 12 slices of different flavour cheese cake, mEow had 1 big candle and 10 small candles to make it 20 years old. Hehehe. mEow, are you touched??

After all the birthday songs, birthday wish, candle blowing, cake cutting, cake choosing and chit chat, on our own request, we chase ourselves out from her house. So that mEow can continue sleeping. mEow had a flight to catch later and have to wake up at 4am. Pity mEow, still got a bunch of inconsiderate friends who come knocking on her door at midnight. Hehehehhe.

When everyone is back to their own house to date with their beds, it's already 2.30am. Total duration for everything is 15 hours 30 minutes straight, non-stop. Oh meOw, so tired by the end of the day. But, it is worth it.
